Happy New Year! I've found January to be a time of changes in my life. Clearly it is 2009, but it is also a time when warmer weather is finally just around that icy corner, and the possibilities of a new year are seemingly endless. We too, at Lawton Printing Index Division, would like to make some changes this year, but would like your help. After all, you know what you want best!
Recipe books come in all different varieties, each with any number of delicious foods. In my experience (OK OK, I won't lie...I can't cook...) But, in my wife's experience, she'll spend what she deems to be too much time flipping through the pages to find the recipe she wants. We would like to begin offering recipe book tabs to help. The tab headings would be the major recipe book chapters that are found universally (Entrees, Deserts, Casseroles, etc...) There would also be a few blank Rite-On tabs for you to personalize your own recipe book. Any thoughts?
We are open for new ideas that you think will help save yourself, and others, time. I would like to encourage any reader to leave a comment regarding recipe tabs, or any other tabs you'd like to see. You can even comment anonymously! We will give anyone that leaves a comment 25% off their next order. All you have to do is leave your email address in your comment and I'll email you a code for your next order! It's easy!

ReplyDeleteOur staff loves your Indexer Tabs and are the only ones they want to use. Keep up the good work! Great products.
ReplyDeleteWe love your colored tabs. Easy to use and great for writing on them.

I like the Cookbook tabs idea . . . perhaps along with a few blank ones, include a few which say "Good!" and "Try This"
ReplyDeleteCookbook tabs sound really great - so much easier to find that favorite cake recipe in the 1979 Southern Living Cookbook - tab what the recipe is, so you don't have to look at each bookmarked page! I also like to comment or highlight passages in books I am reading, but what I am always marking are my scrapbooking magazines, either for articles, a layout sketch, new items I want to try - you could make preprinted tabs with about 10 different items, then I wouldn't have to look at each turned down page to find what I'm looking for!! Love all of your indexing tabs!
ReplyDeleteoooopps - forgot my email addy. marilyncline@hchd.net
ReplyDeleteYour tabs are great. I work for a contractor school, and I use your codebook tabs all of the time. But I wish that you had tabs for the state business law book. sarah.cecnv@yahoo.com
