Coming Soon...

We've had a little interest lately in some versions of code book tabs that we don't currently carry, so it's probably time to update which code book tabs we carry. So... we will be working on printing the 2009 International Mechanical Code, 2009 International Plumbing Code, and 2009 Uniform Plumbing Code. As soon as I can find the table of contents' of each of these books, I'll start the process of printing and making these available to you.

So here's the deal... if you have the table of contents to any of the aforementioned books (or another *popular* code book that we should be printing) email, fax or mail me a copy and you can pretty much guarantee yourself the first copy of tabs for free! I also need to know what color the actual book is so that we can match the tabs to the book.

If no one decides to help me out, well, that's ok, we've done it by ourselves for over 30 years. But there will not be any free tabs given out! So if you're interested in code book index tabs, be on the lookout for the newest versions of your favorite code book.

*"Popularity" is a term that is subject to the index division and those making business decision. Thx*

Newsletters and Emails

Just wanted to let everyone know that the Index Division has been doing quite a bit of emailing lately. Like this blog, email is a way to offer coupons and other ways to save money when you order your index tabs. So what does this mean to you?? You shouldn't be paying full price for index tabs each time you order!!

You need to subscribe to the email list in order to receive those emails. This can be done on the index homepage, as well as when you order. Also, you have to actually create an account with a password in order to be eligible to receive these emails.

I think everyone should at least try it. If you get sick of the emails (probably about 1 email every 2-3 months) you can unsubscribe at any time.

Or, if you are receiving emails and want to see something specific in them, let us know by emailing us here. And be sure to keep checking back!! Thanks for reading! Happy tabbing!

Here's an easy way to get 10% off your next order. That's right, 10% off anything you order!! All you have to do is go to the main Index Division website, find your favorite indexing product and leave some feedback. Seriously, that's all. So if you love White Rite-On tabs, follow these easy steps:
1. Go to the bottom of your favorite product's page
2. Click on "write a review"
3. Tell us what you think.
There has never been an easier way to save 10%. Well, maybe there has been, but this is still pretty easy.
Just be sure to leave me a comment on this post with your email address. Then I'll make sure you left a review (for you cheaters out there, I'm watching you...) and then I'll email a code to you that you can use whenever you want!

Innovation

I would be willing to bet that none of you have used your Index tabs quite like this before....

If you can't tell, the newest and most innovative way to use your Rite-On tabs is to decorate your computer!! Actually, you can decorate anything you want, I just happened to stick them to my computer monitor. And if you are feeling extra innovative (like I was) you can use your favorite university's colors. Any guesses on my favorite? Hint: My school's mascot is an Aggie. OK, OK, I won't keep you on the edge of your seat all day. I am one of these Aggies.

I've also come up with a short list of other Rite-On tab combinations that would help you show support for your favorite team.

Purple + Yellow = LA Lakers, Louisiana State, Eagle Middle School

Green + White = NY Jets, Michigan State, Marshall University, Eagle High School

Blue + Orange = Boise State, Denver Broncos

Green + Yellow = University of Oregon, Green Bay Packers

This is just off the top of my head, and I know there are more! So let me know what your favorite team is, of any sport. If you can make the color combination work, I'll send you some free samples in your teams' colors! Just leave me a comment, telling me your favorite team, the Rite-On colors you would use, and your email address!

Seriously...they last forever!

Happy April! Just a quick reminder that the Bible Tab sale is good for only a few more days, so you better hurry to get those Bible Tabs in time for Easter!

On an unrelated note...I felt it was important to actually prove to the masses that our index tabs do actually last a really long time and are very strong. To do this, I've conducted a little experiment. I found an old phone book that is still lying around the office here and it just happens to be tabbed with our very own Phone Book Tabs. Phone books, as you know, have very thin pages which subsequently tear quite easily and are also pretty heavy.
This particular phone book actually weighs 4.3 lbs, just FYI. So the million-dollar question is: Will the page tear if a person were to hold the phone book by one tab??? Let's find out...

Of course it doesn't tear! I wouldn't have posted this without knowing the answer first, give me a little credit here. But the point is, these index tabs are strong and here is why...(This is where I'm about to get scientific) Most index tabs found around the web are square or rectangular, while ours are round. No kidding, right?! Well because they are round, the weight is more evenly distributed over a larger surface area. It is the same principle that allows snow-shoers to not fall through the snow that allows these tabs to not tear your pages.

So now you know, everything you read on the Index Division website is absolutely true!

March is one of my favorite months. The wrath of winter is finally winding down, spring is in the air, and on occasion the sun has been known to peek its rays out from the clouds. This is the time where I'm no longer complaining about how COLD it is outside, and just before I start complaining about how HOT it is outside...after all, all things in moderation, right?!

Well I can't believe I'm saying this, but Easter is right around the corner. I grew up doing the traditional Easter activities, recieving an Easter basket filled with candy and going on an Easter egg hunt, but, like Christmas it is easy to get caught up in the fanfare of Easter and lose sight of why we celebrate the holiday. So let's not forget the reason we celebrate Easter and why not include in your Easter baskets a set of Bible Index Tabs. They're cheap, helpful, and would look great with those giant chocolate Easter bunnies.

Every order that includes at least 2 sets of any Bible Index Tabs will receive 10% off when you use the code: BBL10BLOG
Just be sure to order before Easter Sunday!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! I've found January to be a time of changes in my life. Clearly it is 2009, but it is also a time when warmer weather is finally just around that icy corner, and the possibilities of a new year are seemingly endless. We too, at Lawton Printing Index Division, would like to make some changes this year, but would like your help. After all, you know what you want best!

Recipe books come in all different varieties, each with any number of delicious foods. In my experience (OK OK, I won't lie...I can't cook...) But, in my wife's experience, she'll spend what she deems to be too much time flipping through the pages to find the recipe she wants. We would like to begin offering recipe book tabs to help. The tab headings would be the major recipe book chapters that are found universally (Entrees, Deserts, Casseroles, etc...) There would also be a few blank Rite-On tabs for you to personalize your own recipe book. Any thoughts?

We are open for new ideas that you think will help save yourself, and others, time. I would like to encourage any reader to leave a comment regarding recipe tabs, or any other tabs you'd like to see. You can even comment anonymously! We will give anyone that leaves a comment 25% off their next order. All you have to do is leave your email address in your comment and I'll email you a code for your next order! It's easy!

NOTE: To comment click the link that reads: "1 comments", write your message, and fill in the other fields.
